I am trying to do a spring clean and get rid of some of my site to raise a little cash, I listed one of my sites as a test to get a feel of Flippa.com.

I had to list my site twice and the second time I listed it there was a little bidding war for it. Although this did not sell during the auction, I contacted the highest bidder and sold it that way. But I feel I now have a good feel of Flippa.com I will sell more sites there.

There is a product call Lump Sum Profits by Ryan Moran which talks in detail about the process of buying and selling sites.

Although my main focus is on creating my first product I will keep one or two of my sites, build up the Adsense earnings with them and flip them at Flippa.

If you were like me and have a number of sites just sat on the net you could sell them on flippa. Some people are after good aged domain. Some are after sites that are making a little money, so they will clean it up a little and make it more profitable. You many even have sites that make no money, but get a lot of traffic, you can sell these for good profit too.

Ok, so you have found your niches, weather it be your an offline business coming online or your an internet marketer and you want to make your site profitable, you need to know how to drive traffic to your website. You can look at it like this, You just paid out for an expensive car (your website), and it has no engine (the website marketing), how are you going to get people to see it?

Learning how to drive traffic to your website is the life blood of your website, this has to be worked on no question!

But how to drive traffic to your website?

If you have money you could go one of 2 ways. Outsource the whole thing. Or, if you want to do it your self and you want fast traffic in minutes, Pay Per Click might be the way you want to go. Google was once the Pay Per Click big daddy, by Facebook is now the favorate.

With Facebook you can add a small picture to your ad, PLUS you can make your ad much more targetted, by selecting what sex, age, location you want your ads to show up. With Google you are only targeting the keywords.

One guy that will you should learn from if Facebook Pay Per Click is Jonathan Volk. This guy knows his stuff and make silly amounts of money using Facebook Pay Per Click Ads. But you need to have some good money before you start.

But, what if your like me and have little to no spare cash to market your websites?

Search Engine Optimization would be your next best bet. This is the area I enjoy. Seeing your website sitting pretty at the top of Google gives me a nice little kick and puts a nice smile on my face.

But even SEO have a number of areas you need to know about, on page SEO, off page SEO and the main areas. Then off page SEO is broken down even more, backlinks, link diversity, link juice, indexing your links etc.

Well I found a guy called Richard Legg, who I did speak to over skype a few days ago. He has a great course on nearly every aspect of SEO and a few other traffic generations in his Traffic Uncut product.

In this product Richard will show you how to drive traffic to your website using a number of traffic generating methods, mostly SEO methods. These methods you can do yourself, it will only take you long to complete, but the are very doable.

Richard has 33 videos showing you how to get traffic to your website, all very easy to follow.

I have seen these videos myself, if you are new to SEO then you might have to watch them twice. Remember to have a pen and paper handy to take notice and plan your actions. Well worth the money in my mind.

The other day I got an email from Alex Jeffreys telling me about his latest post on his site (here is the page in question http://internetdocumentary.com/personal-shit/). After reading this page there were several points that hit home with me.

Alex has built, and will continue to build a very successful business (after meeting him in London and seeing his plan this man is going to be super successful), but he has let his health slip a little.

Since being self-employed he could sit by the pool every day and relax with a beer. This sounds very relaxing, just imagine sitting behind the computer for a few hours a day then going to sit by the pool with a beer or 2, sounds like a day working day to me.

But, Alex did this for roughly a year and with one bottle of beer being  just less than 500 empty calories, that’s a lot of extra unusable calories Alex was putting on. Without increasing his activities this will only put on the pounds.

But Alex has realized this and is sorting this out to get back into shape. But this post isn’t about Alex and how he is sorting his weight out. This post is about me and how I need to do the opposite.

You see ever since going to the gym, since the age of 17 I always write down what exercises I did, how many sets and how many reps so I can keep a log of my progress (back than I had ever little structure in comparison to now). These days my workouts and written in a day per page diary and I keep a very close eye on what I eat and the timings of when I eat it. The result, I am sheading pounds and my 8 pack is nearly here. This is all due to me making a daily plan (with my workouts and with what I eat), taking notes a lot the way and making adjustments when needed.

I need to have that same dedication with my workouts and nutrition and apply them to my internet marketing future!

At the moment I will sit down in front of my computer then “figure  out” on what to do. With my workouts I am thinking what to do later that while I am still at my day job. I need to do this with my internet marketing.

What can you take away from this?

To be successful at something I feel you need a solid plan of direction. Have goals to hit, realistic goals to hit. And have a daily action plan to hit your goals.

With me, my first goal is to hit £1500 a month, this will give me the money to then become a full time internet marketer. Once I have hit that point I will set another realistic goal to hit, make my plan of action and go in a straight line till I make that new goal.

Have you ever wanted to make your own info product but feel as if you dont have the time or knowlegde to put a product together?

As a fitness nut (a qualified personal trainer) I have always wanted my own fitness products, fat loss, muscle building, that sort of thing. And its been the last year or so I have been getting increasingly frustrated with the, what I call “Gym Monkeys” (you can read what I call Gym Monkeys over at my fitness blog www.1st4fitness.com) and how bad these people our. And I have given people, friends, family advice on, mostly fat loss.

So I thought I would write my own fat loss book to start with.

So with what I already know, and some referance book I am ready to start. But I would be on my computer day in day out typing on the keyboard, wearing it thin with the number of times I would be hitting the key, specally the backspace button.

So, I invested in a microphone and a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking.

After the set up with Dragon Naturally Speaking, so it learns your voice (this takes a few hours at most) you can just dictate to your computer and it will do the writing for you.

Once you have done with the dictating, all you need to done is proof read it, and your done!

Remember, it does not have to be perfect. I bet you have read a number of ebook with spelling and grammar errors. heck, you will probably see some in this very post.

I think the phase I heard Russel Bronson once say, and that was “Ready, Fire, Aim”

In other words, get your product done and get it out! Then ask for feedback from your customers, they will not only help with the content, but also tell you what they want to know on the subject. So you can then update your content with the anwsers to their very own questions, and they will love you for it.

So, what do you need for super fast product creation? (even on a subject you know nothing about)

After a great weekend at Instant Profit Seminar that was held in London on the 11th and 12th of June here is a picture of Alex Jefferys, Dean Holland and myself.

We picked up some great tips and ideas on making a profitable business online, mostly via email marketing. Although, I have been doing SEO for some time with ranking Adsense sites, I am moving over to email marketing. And I will be interview IM Experts in their specific fields.

This was my first seminar (although I have been to a Warrior Forum Lunch a few years back) and I will be going to many more as not only do you pick up some quality tips (even if you think you know it all) you also get to network and potential find a business partner, just like Dean who went on to bank $600,000 with a business partner he picked up at one.

Anyway, off to find more experts who are willing to do interviews, chat soon.

I have just got in from my first seminar with Alex Jefferies and Dean Holland and I have learnt a lot and now its time to implement, other wise I just wasted a weekend.

One of the methods we learnt today was how to use WSO to help build you a long term income. Although this was not a completely new method to me, I did pick up a small twist that makes it more profitable, cheers Dean.

Since coming back and setting up my laptop I sent out 5 emails to get some interviews with some experts, and I already have a positive reply from a PPC Expert, just need to arrange the time for the interview, a step into the unknown for me, but a big step forward.

What am I planning to do next?

Well, I want to interview some big players in the IM niche for you and I to listen to and learn some of their methods and secrets to success.

Keep your ears to the ground for these interviews and I’m sure we will all pick up some cool stuff.
